Playing with Photoscape
I subscribe to a blog,Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom, and she posted a blog about making your own animated gif. Well, I just had to try that.

A very quick post. This is a page that I threw
together with some scraps laying around. The picture was provided by GREAT Aunt Ann, who keeps Ms. AbbieK when her mom plays Bunco. I found the little tiara on sale at Wal-Mart of all places. I then used plain cardstock in a matching color to mount the page. I had the designer paper that I bought at Hobby Lobby a while back. The journaling is my HORRIBLE handwriting. The other mounted journaling is actually a stamp that I ordered from e-Bay.
In case you can't read it, it says (in handwriting) "While mommy plays Bunco, Aunt Ann keeps me. She makes me feel like a princess."
The stamped journaling reads: "Some of us are too cute to take life seriously..."
I cropped out the rest of the page, but there is some scalloping done with my Martha Steward scallop punch.
Enjoy.

Ms. AbbieK has been with us now for over four months. I wanted to make her a card for forever, but just didn't get around to it...until yesterday. I just had so many different ideas. I had bought this set of stamps way back. The name of the set is Mindy's Zoo. I have already used the monkeys in a scrap page. So, I decided
The inside has a small strip of matching background paper and every so tiny little hand prints stamped ever so lightly along the bottom. The handprint stamp was an e-Bay find. Hero Arts maybe?
The gem clip was an idea I got from Kristina Werner's website, Make a Card Monday. I loved the heart shape. It was perfect for attaching my little snippet of ribbon.

Anyway, I got her home from where Brandi and I meet up to pass her off to me, and she had a pink elephant, another pink elephant blankety thing, two pink blankets, a pink and white burp cloth that is with her 24/7, and then I plopped her in the pink Boppy. Can we say TOOO much pink?
The little orange key ring toy is one that stays at my house. I think it does not blend. Hmmmm....does this mean another shopping trip for Honey?
My next post will be of a card I made for her. Not too sure how much I like it, but it's the thought that counts, right?

I got the paper used from a $1 pack at Dollar Tree...no, really, I did. It makes a lot of invites, too. I cut the 12 X 12 cardstock at 11 inches on one side. I cut it at 4 1/4 by 11. You get two invites from one piece of cardstoc
I stamped a fishing pole (Stamping Bella) and cocktail glass from an acrylic stamp set I got at the Dollar section of Michaels on the typed invite. I attached little pull tabs and stapled a little piece of raffia for my final touch. I just hope we can afford the postage for the things now. ACK!!

The cupcake is from the Dollar section at Hobby Lobby. I added silver Martha Stewart glitter pens and some glaze (Stampin' Up) to the cupcake holder. It's all shiny :).
Happy Valentine's Day stamp was an eBay deal I got.
It felt good to use some of it this week.
The day is relatively young, and I already gave Ms. Abbie her Valentine's loot. But I NEVER made her a card...ACK. I think I will get to crackin' on that.
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
I was going to make a valentine's card at the time and had the base card with the designer paper (clearance at Hobby Lobby) set and using my Martha Stewart scallop lace punch, but I last minute popped sweet Lil Peanut on there and made Josh a VERY mushy b'day card. He was a trooper about it, though. I am also making a much more concerted effort to decorate the INSIDE of my cards...I can't stand plain janes.

The girly girl sentiment is Dollar Spot stamp from Hobby Lobby. The bling is from the Dollar Store. I mounted the Cuttlebug baby folder and brushed it with pale pink chalk. The [all giggles] stamp was one I don't remember where I got, but the Stampin' Up Hodgepodge, stylized silver, seemed perfect for it. The designer paper is Disney, Princess.
Oh, well, it's a little busy, but nothing is too frufru for my little Princess.
